one I do like.....

I think I've cracked it....I actually like this one. It is cross stitch but cross stitch in colours I have chosen. As always the white was non negotiable, the other two colours took a little sort through my floss box to discover. This will now be a section of my new wrapping cloth that I will be creating with the next group of embroider, embellish, create ladies....or men if any want to join us. I best finish my last cloth first though....that is high on the agenda for this weekend, joining and backing and titivating.

I have done the supermarket run....now I await the snow. We have light flurries at the moment which the nice weatherman assures me is just the first course...the main course is due soon. Fear not....I have a shovel.

There is a short video today where I chat a little about the wrapping cloth and the techniques which will be covered in this class. Unlike Alchemy you do not need any embroidery experience as everything is demonstrated from basic hand stitching to patchwork to the creation of rouleau loops and prairie points. Do you remember the cross stitch from earlier in the week that I didn't like? Well I may have fixed that...found something that pleases me aesthetically. About time I can hear you think...I know, I can be difficult to please in terms of my own work............ it's a curse. Tomorrow you should see that...if I survive the supermarket and the snow storm that is forecast....
