I have been refreshing my pocket memory, looking back on past pockets with a view to investigating these in class.
I can never think of pockets without thinking of the following words by Sharon Owens.
Someone clever once said
Women were not allowed pockets
In case they carried leaflets
To spread sedition
Which means unrest
To you & me
A grandiose word
For commonsense
Fairness
Kindness
Equality
So ladies, start sewing
Dangerous coats
Made of pockets & sedition
In other news, happy birthday to this delightful boy, the best son anyone could ask for.
We love you so much James and you make us proud every single day.
Now I must go, I have a date with some cake.
