three pieces

The piece with the bright orange velvet ribbon was worked on a little last night. The surface is stitched paper, worked on my sewing machine but not recently. Since I moved house eight months ago I haven't touched my sewing machine and it's nagging away at me. Creating surfaces to stitch upon in paper, in lace is something I love to do and I always mean to spend an hour doing that but other stuff gets in the way. It's mightily frustrating. You can imagine then how happy I was to find this little piece yesterday. I had already stitched a little into it with white but inspired by the colours in the other two pieces here I have now added a little colour. The downside however.....I am even more desperate to get on my sewing machine now.
