This weekend is all about embroidery school (well apart from half an hour that I will talk about later.) The images here show work from 'stitch along', namely an embroidered baby dress and embroidered pages for a cloth book. Aside from these pieces my collection of little charm squares and trims is growing too.
Mostly I have been finishing embroidery on the tiniest of pockets which sits at the hem of the dress. Alongside the pocket is a tiny scrap of lace which holds special meaning for me and which I have attached with blue seed beads, little bobbly things and buttonhole lace. You can see this work clearly in the next image along with a little trim we have put together.
The other half hour I was talking about was spent making the first marks for my storybook stitching....for my new class.
I'm going to work a little more on that one later today.
