When a new class begins I always make a 'basics' video which remains on our private blog throughout. In that video I speak about my essential embroidery tools and demonstrate the embroidery stitches I use most often. As there is a new embroidery class beginning soon I have been thinking about that 'basics' video and how I might change it.
This time I have decided to create one video in which I talk about my favourite embroidery supplies, threads, needles etc, my essentials....... splitting that part of it from the stitch demonstrations which in the new class will be demonstrated on individual videos.
Today I'm sharing the basics video with you.... since making this I have decided to create a new one for my group so what you see here is slightly different to the one which my group will see but I hope you find it informative all the same.
(in the video I say coton a broder is soft wool. It isn't. It's cotton. I meant to say it is LIKE soft wool)
I will be away all weekend. I am going here very, very early in the morning. I'm going so early that I should probably go to bed now!
