I do enjoy creating these little embroidered hankies. I enjoy doodling pattern on the cloth, no pressure doodling, familiar pattern and then adding little bits of applique and playing with simple stitches. I've yet to decide whether this will be another needle case or another cloth for buttons. I have more need of a button cloth but can you ever have too many needle cases? I doubt it. It's possible these will more and more become my ''cloth'' work over the coming weeks and months whilst I am concentrating on paper in ''artist books''. I won't be able to show you much of my class work initially so you and I will focus more on things like this.......little doodles, soft cloth and simple stitches. Sounds good to me.
