More hankie scraps have been pieced for another pocket. There is minimal embroidery on here at the moment, it's in the very early stages. Two rows of buttonhole lace, one white coton a broder one a single strand of green silk. The very narrow strip of grey check hankie is attached with one strand of green silk too using tiny stab stitches along both edges. My vintage men's hankie stash is dwindling, I need to go on a hunt. I hoped to make at least six of these for London and I still need to use vintage men's hankies for buttons which will finish the hankie cloth. My eyes will be peeled!!
It must be the season for running out of supplies. This morning I had to order some of this and rather a lot of this. Tools of my trade....yet an absolute delight to get in the mail.
