Remember the buttons? These ones. They weren't permanently attached at that stage and I was indecisive. Not any more. They are now securely stitched to the surface of this pillow top which if you look closely also has more bumps and wiggly things since the last time you saw it. What's still to do? Puffs, make puffs, a few more bumps, back this and titivate the edges.
I'm in a funny place today, a strange place. That place in between going away, in between classes finishing and starting, in between Christmas and now. I have stuff to do, boring stuff like laundry, like cleaning and I must wrap gifts before I go and also deck the halls. That's going to happen later today. But it's as if I can't organise my thoughts, create a working plan. I'm doing bits here and there, flitting from one thing to another.
The only constant is embroidery, the only focus. I suppose that makes it OK then, after all embroidery is everything. Isn't it?
